Amelia appeared solo for a performance in a house on the outskirts of Saskatoon situated next to an army training base. The mildly remote location combined with Amelia’s powerful voice made for a very fun evening. Her quirky sense of humour and near delirious road weariness provided a light hearted chat environment intermixed with serious asides and ponderances.

Congrats are in order as Curran won a Juno Award in the category of Roots and Traditional Album of the Year: Solo on April 17, 2010,
